George R. Bienfang is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, was recognized by Texas Monthly Magazine as a Super Lawyer (top 5%) in 2005.

Mr. Bienfang is a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas. While with the Attorney General, he worked as a supervisor in the child support enforcement division. He has served as a Visiting Associate Judge for the Dallas County Family District Courts. He has also served on the Dallas Bar Association's Judiciary Committee and Community Service Committee, as well as acting as a mentor for new attorneys handling family law cases. He is active in civic affairs, such as tutoring inner-city school children and building homes with Habitat for Humanity.

George Bienfang received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University.
